For a while forget Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, the Jonas Brothers and other contemporary pop stars. Before the outrageous outfits, hip-thrusting dance moves and teeny-bopper lyrics there was the famous four: John, Paul, George and Ringo. Just when the world was trying to break free from the prim-and-proper demeanor of the 50’s and 60’s these boys went all out to sport those haircuts, from which Bieber got his inspiration from.

George was said to have started with a random phrase from a random book in writing this song. The phrase was “gently weeps.” The song was completed with help from Eric Clapton for the musical arrangement.

A song with very powerful lyrics that is perhaps one of the most prolific songs ever.
8. Yesterday
Song that was said to have began in a dream of Paul McCartney.
9. We Come Together
This song was originally intended to be released as a campaign song for a California gubernatorial candidate.
10. In My Life
A song about memories that anyone can relate to.
